How much does delivery cost?

Within South Australia: $9.90
Australia-wide: $14.90

Can my order be tracked?

All deliveries outside the Adelaide CBD will be dispatched via Australia Post and are trackable. Once your order has been dispatched you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.
Delivery to Adelaide CBD addresses will be dispatched through our own drivers in our refrigerated trucks. At this stage, these orders cannot be tracked.

How will my order be packed and shipped?

Our packing team are committed to retaining the quality and freshness of your order. We always strive to pack all gifts and products with the highest level of care and attention. We pack orders into appropriately sized cartons, and all excess space is filled with cushioning materials.

Do you ship internationally?

Unfortunately, we cannot ship to an international address; however, international customers can place an order with us and have it delivered to friends or family living at an Australian address.

How can I avoid my chocolates from melting?

During warmer periods of the year, shipping our chocolates or any gifts that contain our chocolates can become challenging. To avoid undesirable melting, we may decide to hold your order in our temperature-controlled facility until cooler weather arrives. In this event, we will make every attempt to contact you beforehand. Alternatively, you may wish to consider choosing a product and/or gift that does not contain any chocolate.

What if my order is lost or severely damaged during transit?

Rest assured, this is an uncommon occurrence, but accidents do happen. In the unlikely event that your order is lost or severely damaged during transit, we will do our best to replace it. In this case, please contact us and feel confident that we will do everything possible to fix the issue quickly and easily.

Why are your nuts more expensive than the supermarket?

It might sound funny, but if you haven't tasted our nuts before, it's possible that you've never tasted a nut during the prime of its life.  Describing how a truly ‘fresh' nut tastes isn't easy, but you know it when you taste it.  And we know it when we taste it.

Charlesworth's ambition is to sell the highest quality nuts, fruits and chocolates in Australia. In our 89 year history, we've had some time to  research the perfect nut.

We have strict standards that police where we source our nuts. From the farm to the processors, each step must be regulated and controlled to maintain quality and that fantastic, fresh taste.  If these standards aren't met, it's not Charlesworth quality, and we simply won't sell it.

Sometimes this means our prices are a little higher, but we will never sacrifice quality for price.

Online Returns Policy

Can I exchange, return or refund my order if I change my mind?

Due to food hygiene and safety issues, we are unable to accept returns, exchanges or offer a refund based on a change of mind, so please choose carefully when ordering. For more information about our returns policy, please see our Terms and Conditions.

Gifts & Customisation

Can we customize your gifts?

We love creating and designing gifts to suit every occasion, which is why we have close to 100 different and curated gift baskets and gift packs in our gift range! We are sure that we have a gift for every occasion and event, and we can guarantee that you will be delighted with our handmade gifts.

If you still can’t find what you are after and want something a little more custom, we can help! For a minimum of 20 gifts, we can change the products to suit your preferences and work out a price for you.

All our gifts are made by hand at the Charlesworth Factory in Marion, so please allow 5 to 7 days for a customised gift order to be created and processed. This timeframe may be extended in promotional times (Christmas, Mother's Day, etc.)

How can I pay?

We accept credit/debit cards, Apple Pay and PayPal for online orders.

I'm worried about giving my credit card information online — is your site secure?

Our site is secure and your credit card information is not stored or collected and cannot be viewed or accessed by Charlesworth Nuts at any time. All credit/debit card payments and information associated with that credit/debit card are handled and processed through Westpac PayPal, a dedicated and highly secure online payment service offered by Westpac Bank. PayPal is a globally recognised online payment service with strong security and safety measures. Please rest assured that you can shop confidently and safely with Charlesworth Nuts. Production Information

Are your products gluten free?

We have many products which are made using gluten-free ingredients*. For instance, nuts are naturally free from gluten, as is our chocolate which is our own recipe. However we do stock some products that are not gluten-free and these are stored and produced in the same factory. While we make every effort to limit contamination, please note we cannot guarantee that traces of gluten will not be present in our products.

This information is highlighted on each product's information tabs online. Our in-store team members have access to all ingredient lists so please ask for this information as required.

Do you have any vegan products?

Much of our range is naturally vegan, e.g. nuts, glazed nuts, dried fruit, seeds and much of our cooked nut range contain no animal products. Unfortunately, our chocolate (including dark chocolate) is not dairy-free. We do stock an extra dark chocolate (buds) in selected stores that contains no animal products, so please enquire with your local store for availability.

The ingredients for each product are listed in the product's information tabs (online), or our staff in-store can provide you with ingredients lists as required.

Do any of your products contain palm oil?

We sell four products that contains sustainably sourced palm oil: BBQ Puff Rice Crackers, Apricot Coconut Slice, Apricot Fruit Pieces, and Chocolate Honeycomb. We prefer products that do not contain palm oil, and always enquire about alternatives, but in some cases this is not possible. Our priority is then ensuring that the palm oil is certified as sustainably sourced. We will only accept official certification and accompanying documentation to ensure the validity of the claim. We will continue to work towards eliminating palm oil from our range entirely as it becomes possible.
