Charlesworth Nuts Means....
Our Heritage and the traditions we have created here at Charlesworth Nuts are very important to us. |

"they started the tradition and established the values in 1934. Herbert and Doris Charlesworth" |
Our Grandparents, Doris and Herbert first traded as Charleswoth Nuts back in March 1934 from a small stall in the Adelaide Central Market, part of the same site we occupy today. |

"Chappy behind the counter int he 50's in the Central Market Stall where it all started." |
Their son E.W. "Chappy" Charlesworth grew the business from the 1950's to the 1970's establishing Charlesworth Nuts reputation for the absolute best quality and second-to-none service. He doubled the size of the stall and introduced the now famous Charlesworth "hot nuts" cooked in roasters that were built at the Holden factory.

"Central Market circa 1970 following a major refit." |
Chappy's two sons Mark and Brett took over in the late 70's and continue to manage the ever-growing and constantly evolving business today. Brett's three sons Rhys, Kain and Liam are now just starting their careers. |

"The ever changing face of the Market with another refit in 1989." |
Whilst we are focused on the future and the continuous improvement and expansion of Charlesworth Nuts, our values and philosophies are the traditional ones handed down through each successive generation who use them as a guiding light and treat them with reverence and respect. |
"Our second store opened in Marion in 1974 and 4 relocations later, it's still going strong." |
Whether it's our product or our Values, we aim to provide our customers with the best of the "old days" gift wrapped in the excitement and innovation of the future.
