We just wanted to let you know that our father Chappy Charlesworth, patriarch of our company, passed away peacefully and on his own terms on Monday 4th February, 2008.
Chappy took over the family business from his father Herbert in the late 1940's and was responsible for growing the business and establishing the values of quality, service and excellence that we adhere to today and will adhere to forever.
Chappy was a much loved, larger-than-life character both inside and outside the Company. His irreverent sense of humour, wisdom, strength and caring nature will be desperately missed by all those who knew and loved him.
